  • Troop Financial Report

For Troops within Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois council
  • Girl Scouts of the USA requires all Girl Scout councils to maintain records of troop funds. According to Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois policy, troop funds are the property of the council and are to be maintained in a Girl Scout bank account. Each troop is required to complete and submit an Annual Financial Report with a copy of the first and last bank statement, no later than the last Thursday in June of the current membership year. Failure to submit a complete report is a violation of policy and may prevent your troop from fully participating in the future. All reports will be maintained and kept on file in our Finance Department.

ACH Update Required: You may now complete your 2025-26 ACH form by clicking here.

All troops, Service Units, Day Camps, and Robotics teams need to complete an ACH form yearly.

    • GSofSI understands Third-Party Settlement Organizations (TPSO) like Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, etc. make things convenient when exchanging money. At this time CheddarUp is the approved TPSO option to use in conjunction with your Girl Scout Troop or Service Unit to limit risk such as fraud, misuse, and lack of security. Non-mission related activities could arise and jeopardize council’s tax-exempt status. With changing tax laws, volunteers using their personal TPSO apps could be impacted under 1099-K reporting requirements.
